Hey there, I'm Leslie. As of now I currently studying game design at the University of Tulsa. When I started with my first game I was self-taught. I strive to make quality projects and want to ensure that my games create lasting impacts on those who play them. I want to be a creative director or go into project management eventually! I love exploring different mediums of expression and desire to see ideas transform into tangible results.
I hope to make games that are unique and genre-expanding. Something anyone can get invested in. Games that inspire, make you think, and that hold a special place in your memories even after you watch the credits roll. I want to make games that are well worth the time taken to play. The genres I’m most interested in are resource management titles, story-based RPGs, mystery and adventure games, as well as visual novels and sandbox games!
I want to set a new standard for the game industry and to see it become something fantastic. I want games to have more meaning and ingenuity behind them. I want my games to explore new and fascinating concepts that make the audience truly feel something while playing, where every experience to be important. I have the vision of turning games into the modern equivalent of classical literature. Wherein every single element of their creation is carefully placed and extensively considered. I want to raise the standard so that more games are worthy of that literary classification.
This portfolio of my works through itch.io is a venue for me to demonstrate my capabilities as a game designer and my potential for creative directing. I will be submitting some works from classes and my personal projects here for reference.
